I am changing my theory here and mounting the cowl flaps to the firewall permanently. The cowling will then be mounted to the cowl flap frame. This will take the place of the cowling extension that I had made from aluminum to fit the Rand Robinson pre-molded cowl to the GPASC Type IV engine.
