Pictures of the Week                                            June 3, 2003

Last weekend I was able to locate a K-Jetronic fuel distributor and to my great surprise, it was very heavy.  I did not have a scale with me but I'm sure it was close to ten pounds.  This fact combined with my inability to find the rest of the  K-Jetronic fuel injection components has resigned me to using a carb.  To make it fit I had to mount it on the firewall between the bottom two engine mounts. There was no room to mount it on the engine.  Here are some pictures of the mounting bracket construction.

Welding on the carb outlet tube.  This will be used to secure the silicone hose from the carb on the fire wall to the turbo on the engine.
