The regulator cooling air manifold was manufactured from sheet 6061 and welded up to form a box around the regulator. A piece of 5/8" aluminum tube was welded to the front face of the manifold. SCAT-2A hose (5/8" ID) will be used to connect regulator to air supply. The regulator for the second dynamo came with the cooling fins running across the width of the unit rather than the length as was the case in with the first unit. To facilitate cooling the blast tube was welded to the manifold on the edge rather than the center as shown below.
