I continue to have difficulty in welding the fittings to the block-off plate. It seems that the amount of heat required to get the weld to take eliminates the heat treat of the threads on the fittings.
These three fittings are ones that I found through Muscle Motorsports (see supplier page). The first is an AN fitting from 3/8NPT to -10 hose. The next two are 150 and 180 degree -10 host reusable fittings for Aeroquip stainless steel hose. Using these fittings I can now make the oil cooler block off plate that I purchased work in this installation.
This has moved my direction to the installation of the oil cooler and inter-cooler. Documentation for this installation is located under the Documents/Engine link in the frame to the right.
